This 18 station servo driven AMi/4 rotary dial cycles at 65 cpm. The machine has the capability to assemble 7 different styles of assemblies. The machine includes our new quiet slides and integrates 3 vision systems in the inspection process. The fixture was designed such to accommodate all 7 styles of assemblies with minimal downtime for changeover.
Work performed:
This 18 station cam driven rotary dial machine was designed to assemble connectors for the automotive industry. There are 43 different styles of connectors that can be assembled on this one machine. The cycle rate of the equipment is 25 ppm. Some of the processes integrated on the equipment include, vision for part identification, leak test, and laser date code.
Work performed:
This 24 station cam driven rotary dial machine was designed to assemble light bulb contacts for tail lights and side markers on automobiles. This machine is a cam driven synchronous dial which has the capability to cycle at variable speeds ranging from 10ppm to 40ppm. The machine included standard pick and place and probe devices. Components were fed from vibratory feeder bowls to the main dial. LVDT probe devices were used to inspect that the terminals were seated to a specific depth within .010". The machine has the capability to assemble 4 different styles of assembly with minimal change over from on style to another.
Work performed:
This 24 station cam driven rotary dial machine was designed to insert from 4 to 9 terminals into a plastic back cover used in the ignition key for lawn tractors. This machine is a cam driven synchronous dial which ran at 20 cpm. The machine included standard pick and place and probe devices. Components were fed from vibratory feeder bowls to the main dial. The machine has the capability to assemble 12 different styles of assemblies with less than 5 minute change over from on style to another.
Work performed:
This 18 station AMi/1 rotary dial machine was designed to assemble Fuel Line Connector Assemblies. 23 different styles of products were assembled and tested on this machine. The cycle rate of the machine was 55cpm. Good assemblies were unloaded to an auxiliary dial where a high and low pressure tests were performed.
Work performed:
This 12 station AMi/2 rotary dial machine was designed to assemble and test automotive pressure sensors. The cycle rate of the machine was 15cpm. Some of the processes on the machine were riveting, leak testing and vision inspection.
Work performed:
This 24 station AMi/1 rotary dial machine was designed to assemble, test, inspect and package Coil Tray assemblies utilized in antilock brake modules. Terminals were cut from reels and placed into a plastic base. The processes included high pot test and linear sensing. Good assemblies were then unloaded into trays.
Work performed:
This 24 station AMi/1 rotary dial machine was designed to assemble, and inspect 4 styles of pressure connectors. Processes included pressure monitoring of a load operation and high pressure staking of components to keep the parts together.
